“I want you to get excited about who you are, what you are, what you have, and what can still be for you. I want to inspire you to go far beyond where you are right now”

— Virginia Satir

Practice and Philosophy

I intimately know how challenging it can be to reach out for support so I want to warmly welcome you in taking the first step in your journey. I understand the complexities of life and how our past and environment influence the now. I approach therapy from a dynamic perspective utilizing experiential modalities to gradually move clients toward congruence in their lives. What this means, plainly, is that together we will work to uncover the parts of your life that are no longer working for you and bring you into alignment with your truest self. One of my top priorities is ensuring I truly understand your circumstances, therefore, I consider your whole personhood-your background, upbringing, environment, lifestyle, beliefs, and sexuality to create a plan of action that best suits your specific needs within the context of my practice. I trust that every person is capable of achieving change in their lives and fulfilling their greatest potential. I believe my relationship with you is the center for all transformation, so my focus is working to empower you while providing a safe space throughout the therapeutic process. I feel passionately about this work and the magic held in the unfolding of each special individual.
