Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Hello!

My name is Jovita Gutierrez (or Jovi), and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Thank you for taking the time to visit my profile and considering me to be part of your healing journey.

My Philosophy and Approach to Therapy

We may encounter moments in our lives when circumstances seem overwhelming or difficult to work through on our own. These roadblocks can lead us to experience cycles of thoughts and emotions that are difficult to manage. In therapy, I will strive to help you work through these challenges, gain life balance, and feel empowered to be the best version of yourself.

My therapeutic approach is eclectic which incorporates a variety of evidenced-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused-Therapy, and Mindfulness-based practices. The treatment I provided is unique to my client’s needs and goals. I value diversity and take into account culture, environment, and family background when working with my clients.

Taking the first step of your healing journey can be intimidating. I am committed to providing a safe, compassionate, judgment free, and collaborative space sprinkled with some humor where you can be your most authentic self. If you decide that we are a good fit and are ready to embark on this healing journey, I strongly encourage you to reach out.
