My Background

Navigating the intricacies of human experience has been the driving force behind my journey as a clinician. Born in New York and raised in Texas, my academic journey led me to study Psychology at The University of Texas at San Antonio. Discovering a profound passion for mental health, I set out on the path to become a Licensed Professional Counselor. Achieving my Master’s Degree in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness from New York University, I specialize in treating eating disorders and LGBTQIA+ issues. As a counselor, I’ve worked in private practices, psychiatric hospitals, and recovery centers, providing individual, group, couples, and family counseling to teens and young adults. Actively participating in The International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals, I am committed to creating a therapeutic space where clients can explore their concerns with safety and empathy. Additionally, I offer eating disorder, depression, anxiety, OCD, and PTSD psychodiagnostic evaluations.

A Few Fun Facts or Interests:

When I step out of the therapy room, you’ll discover my passion for the creative arts. Whether it’s diving into fiction novels, going to broadway shows, or attending live music concerts, these pursuits not only bring me joy but also enrich my understanding of the world. Building a compassionate and welcoming environment is at the core of my approach, and I’m excited about the chance to deepen our connection as we embark on this journey together.
