My Therapeutic Style

I have extensive training and experience in trauma, chronic pain, chronic illness, grief, and major life transitions. My work focuses on PTSD, anxiety, and depression, especially when tied to medical complexities, prolonged stress, or identity exploration. I help clients understand how these challenges impact their emotions, bodies, and relationships, so they can navigate them in a way that feels manageable and meaningful.

Many of my long-term clients come to me dealing with trauma, chronic pain and the emotional weight of ongoing stress — challenges that don’t simply resolve with time. They often struggle with feeling disconnected from themselves while navigating significant life transitions, relationship difficulties or grief. What connects many of their stories is a desire to move forward authentically, even when facing situations without simple solutions.

I take a grounded yet flexible approach, balancing practical tools with deeper exploration. My goal is to provide therapy that is consistent, supportive, and adaptable to both immediate and long term needs. I approach therapy as a collaborative learning lab of the self. I primarily use EMDR, Narrative Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), blending in mindfulness, somatic work, and creative expression when helpful. My goal is to weave these approaches in a way that feels natural, practical, and supportive of each person’s unique pace.
