My Background
I have 20 years of experience working with adolescents, adults, and families. I have a clinical
background working with a variety of mental health conditions. Much of my experience comes
from working in a hospital setting, where I spent time as a therapist in three different levels of
care: inpatient, partial hospitalization, and outpatient treatment. I have additional expertise in
crisis management, group therapy, and family therapy.
I have a warm and nurturing approach. I love empowering others to live their best lives. If you
are looking to better yourself or your situation, I am here for YOU. Life is short. We must act with
passion and determination to become the very best we can be.
Labels and diagnoses may come and go. I believe in treating symptoms and specific behaviors.
I like to focus on an individual’s needs and personal goals. I prefer a strength-based approach.
Every human deserves compassion and discovery. Resiliency runs strong when you know
where to find it. I believe life is full of possibilities!
I have specific training in cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, solution-
focused therapy, and trauma informed care. I am honored and excited to go through this journey
with you.
A Few Fun Facts:
I grew up in a big city, but have always loved the country lifestyle. I absolutely love being a
Texan. My husband and I recently moved to a rural area where we enjoy the outdoors. My
passions are riding horses and competing in barrel racing, spending time connecting with
friends and family, playing with our 3 dogs, and exploring nature. I enjoy good books, movies,
and great coffee.
