My Therapeutic Style

I am mainly compassion focused. I conceptualize through a trauma lens and provide psycho-education. I also utilize kundalini yoga breathing techniques in addition to various practical tools to help the patient increase distress tolerance and emotional regulation skills. Clients can expect to leave sessions feeling safe and more comfortable than when they arrived, with a sense of hope and inspired action.

Past clients have struggled with trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and depression. They have expressed gratitude and report that they never thought that they would progress so quickly, if at all, but after EMDR therapy it has completely changed their outlook on life in positive ways. They feel happier and feel confident that they can trust their judgment.

I believe that the client is the expert and that they have full autonomy in session. My job is to guide them. They already know what to do, they just need some inspiration, psycho-education, and practical tools to help them along the way. If this is what you’re looking for, please reach out to schedule an appointment.
