My Therapeutic Style
I use evidence-based practices like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), CBT, and DBT to create tailored plans for each individual. In our first sessions, you’ll gain practical skills, identify core values, and set meaningful goals. I integrate CBT skills by focusing on the 3 Bs (body, brain, and behavior) and building emotional awareness. My holistic approach addresses both mind and body for overall well-being.
I specialize in anxiety, thought disorders, and life transitions. A significant number of my clients have reported challenges in establishing appropriate boundaries within their romantic and familial relationships. Additionally, I have worked with a considerable cohort of clients who experience anxiety stemming from prescribed expectations and negative self-dialogue.
Clients can expect a curious approach to their potential goals for counseling. I give my clients a chance to share any information they feel is helpful for me to know. We will work to identify values and create values based goals to help guide us through our work together.
Outside of sessions, I’m a wife and mom to four boys. I love music, and enjoy singing in my free time. I also love all things Star Wars and true crime.
