My Therapeutic Style

I use humor and appropriate self-disclosure as well as a relaxed approach to ensure there are no barriers that impede openness or development of a solid rapport and therapeutic partnership. I believe creating a space of safety, acceptance and respect is imperative. Connection, belonging and understanding are fundamental.

My specialties include depressive and anxiety disorders, LGBTQ+ issues, self-esteem/confidence, codependency, relationship stressors, adjustment disorders, disenfranchised grief, life transitions, women’s issues, artists/creatives/media professionals issues, and alcohol/substance use.

Past clients have expressed appreciation and gratitude, stating they learned how to recognize and manage symptoms effectively. Many identified learning how to set boundaries, identify detrimental core beliefs, change automatic thoughts and more on their path to being comfortable being their authentic selves. I would love to help you do the same.
