My Background

I’ve always been passionate about helping others navigate life’s challenges. Becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor was an innate path for me as I wanted to make a positive impact on people’s lives and advocate for mental wellness. As your assigned Deep Eddy Psychotherapy therapist, I’m committed to providing a healthy, interactive therapeutic space with a sense of compassion, empathy, and reassurance. As a Texas native I’m actively involved in the Texas Counseling Association and have a multifaceted experience in the mental health field including community, correctional, inpatient, and residential treatment settings.

One important aspect of my personal journey is to create a captivating therapeutic space for my clients to approach therapy as an experience and not a chore.

A Few Fun Facts

When I step out of the therapy room, you’ll discover that if it involves Sephora, Ulta, or M.A.C. I’m there! I have a passion for doing makeup and using the art of makeup as a form of therapy for myself. Whether it’s diving into Criminal Minds or Abbott Elementary for the hundredth time, or enjoying an open mic poetry night, these pursuits not only bring me joy but also enrich my understanding of the world. Building a safe, sound, and stable environment is at the core of my approach, and I’m excited about the chance to deepen our connection as we embark on this journey together.
