My Background
After growing up in California, I moved to Texas and pursued my education in Clinical Psychology at University of Texas. Realizing my deep passion for psychology, I began my journey toward becoming a licensed therapist. I completed my PsyD in Psychology at Breyer State Theology University. With a focus on grief counseling, I have experience as a licensed therapist treating teenagers and adults with CBT and EMDR. Additionally, I provide Bariatric Psychological evaluations. I became a therapist because of my own healing journey. As a young 20 year old, sitting in my therapist’s office, I said to myself, “If I can help people the way she has helped me, then this is what I want to do with my life.”
A Few Fun Facts or Interests:
Outside the therapy room, you might find me outside playing with my dogs. I enjoy laying by the pool, and reading self help books- Mel Robbins is one of my favorites. Connecting on a personal level is essential, and I look forward to getting to know you better!
