Life’s not about expecting, hoping and wishing.

It’s about doing, being and becoming.

Do you ever feel you are not able to find the right words to communicate how you feel, who you are or what you need from others in your life?  Like a lot of us, do you wake up after a problem the day before thinking about what you “should have said” to have expressed yourself better or if you should have used different words in trying to resolve a conflict in your life?

It is hard to reach out for help when you face difficulties, but you have made a very important step in coming to Therapy.  Here you will find counselors with a wide variety of skill sets, areas of expertise and personal therapy styles to match your individual needs and the goals you are trying to reach.

If we work together, we would work as a team.  You are the most important part of reaching the improved life experience you are searching for.  You bring the knowledge of the past experiences that have made you who you are and the intimate details of the problem areas that are challenging you today.

My approach to helping clients is to provide them with a safe and accepting space to share their life with a caring and empathetic listener. By bringing my expertise in mental health issues and knowledge of strategies for change and coping, we can craft the necessary strategy to identify your strengths and start setting short, attainable goals to guide you on your journey.

My areas of special interest are working with clients suffering from trauma, stress, anxiety, depression or low self-esteem whether it be due to everyday life, life transitions, career changes, relationship issues or domestic violence.

I received my Master in Social Work from the University of Texas San Antonio.  I enjoy the outdoors and taking my dogs, Bella and Remy, out with me as often as possible, especially on road trips.  I love to learn new things such as dance, trying new recipes and watching DIYS.  In my spare time, I enjoy reading books and listening to podcasts. I love to travel and get to know other cities, states and countries as well as their people and cultures.

If you are interested in working together, I invite you to contact me at deepeddypsychotherapy.com.  I look forward to meeting you.
