My Background
Building an authentic working relationship with my clients is at the core of my approach. I aim to foster an environment of safety where you are free to explore whatever you need, with a conversational, interactive, and person-centered approach. I’ve found humor to be a
powerful tool, where appropriate, alongside harnessing individual strengths. Whether you’re processing trauma, navigating grief, or exploring your sense of self, I am here to support you as you seize your self-care and offer yourself the self-compassion you deserve as you rebuild a life that’s both fulfilling and authentic.
My professional background includes clinical experience in behavioral health, trauma, and crisis intervention, gained in school and psychiatric emergency settings. I am currently pursuing my Master of Social Work degree at Baylor University. My approach integrates various modalities, including Trauma-Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, TBRI, Interpersonal Neuroscience, Attachment-Based work, and Internal Family Systems, all within a Strengths-Based framework tailored to your unique needs.
A Few Fun Facts:
I am a genuine Texas girl with a deep love for Friday night football games, Blue Bell ice cream, and Tex-Mex! When I step out of the therapy room and I’m not busy embarrassing my family in the stands at their sports games, you’ll often find me reading, dominating in
Mario-Kart, or on the hunt for new taco spots – I love new recommendations!
