About Me

Born and raised in Lubbock, Texas. I stayed in West Texas and attended Texas Tech University for my Bachelors in Counseling Addiction Recovery Sciences and Psychology. Currently, I am working towards my Masters in Counseling at St Edward’s University. I’ve always been passionate about helping others discover new ways to navigate and approach life’s challenges. Becoming a therapist is the perfect avenue to be able to make a positive impact on people’s lives and walk alongside them in their healing journey. I feel honored to be a part of my clients’ journey in healing, growing, and developing into a more authentic way of being.

Outside the therapy room, I have a passion for nature, arts, live music, animals and coffee. Whether it’s diving into painting, reading, exploring a new coffee shop, or an afternoon at Barton springs, these pursuits not only bring me joy but also enrich my understanding of the world.

Philosophy and Approach to Therapy

I understand and intimately know how challenging, confusing and complicated life can be. Counseling is a space where you can work to understand these complicated pieces of your story. I approach therapy from a dynamic perspective utilizing holistic, narrative, and person-centered modalities to help clients rewrite their stories to become more aligned with their authentic self. One of my priorities is ensuring I truly understand you and your circumstances. By considering you as a whole person that is connected to various narratives and systems. Your background, upbringing, lived experience, environment, lifestyle, beliefs, relationships and sexuality are important in your journey to healing.

I am here to create a safe, supportive, and welcoming space for you to heal, face life’s challenges, and re-write your narrative. I deeply believe everyone is capable of achieving change and transforming their lives to be more authentic to themselves. I strive to empower you through our therapeutic relationship which is essential to your path to achieving your greatest potential. I’m excited about the chance to deepen our connection as we embark on this journey together.
