About Me!

As a military wife, I’ve traveled extensively and have had the joy of experiencing life across the US, working with diverse populations in New York, Kentucky, Appalachia, Chicago, and Hawaii . . . I’ve learned so much from my clients over the years, and I love what I do.

Helping people has always been my passion and gift in life. With over a decade in the mental health field I have earned a reputation for specialty work with trauma, anxiety, depression, forensic and group therapy work. Whether it’s an individual or group counseling session, I take each individual’s needs into consideration, tailoring my services and strategy to the client. My clinical interventions include counseling, behavioral and cognitive-behavioral treatments, person centered therapy, psycho-education, psychodynamic, among other evidence and research-based interventions. Whether working with children, adolescents or adults, my work is empirically and developmentally informed.

Some of my experience include (but are not limited to) the following: daily individual counseling, group therapy, crisis intervention, substance abuse counseling, child and family therapy at outpatient clinics, comprehensive psychological assessments, and intensive trauma-focused CBT-TF services for diverse populations.

My areas of expertise include:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
