Practice Philosophy
Hope flows from the inside out. Problems come in different sizes; they could appear as little foxes disrupting your life or Goliaths that are overwhelming; therefore, talk therapy is essential. Therapy offers a space to talk and figure out a healthy plan for you and your family. Â We can develop a therapeutic alliance to allow hope to flow and find new possibilities to heal.
About Me
My family’s cultural background is from Louisiana and Texas. I am proud to come from a four-generational military family. I transitioned to professional counseling when I saw the family unit’s needs within the school system. I hold a Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in Early Education and Special Education from the University of Houston Clear Lake. After completing my master’s, I entered a License Professional Counseling doctoral program to gain more knowledge and understanding of the field and hone in on a specialization, which is sex and sexuality. I am excited to continue my journey of learning and developing.
I love Cajun/Creole food & music and family time! The majority of my leisure time is enjoying fishing with my family. I make sure my fishing license does not expire!
