My Background
I was born in El Paso, Texas but grew up in Juarez, Mexico. I pursued my bachelor’s degree in psychology and obtained a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling at The University of Texas at El Paso. I always had a curiosity in the field of psychology and psychotherapy and so I began my journey toward becoming a professional counselor. I have experience as an interventionist and clinical research before I became a licensed therapist. I have worked in diverse settings and with non-profit organizations mainly focused in helping clients processing acute, chronic, and complex trauma.
A Few Fun Facts
Outside the therapy room, you might find me at the soccer field. I enjoy video games, learning with YouTube and podcasts, and road trips. Connecting on a personal level is essential, and I look forward to getting to know you better!
