My Background and Interests

I have always been passionate about helping others feel acknowledged, understood, and empowered to forge their own unique paths in life. My goal is to create a warm and collaborative environment using a depth focused approach to therapy. My hope is that you will be able to discover your strengths and have the tools to overcome feelings of being “stuck” in life. I believe that acknowledging the full range of human emotions, from anger to deep sadness, are essential to your therapeutic journey. For this reason, no topic is off limits during our sessions.

We will begin therapy by addressing the challenges you are currently facing and work together to develop practical strategies and solutions. This approach will lay the foundation for a more in-depth exploration of your experience as therapy progresses. I specifically integrate attachment theory, psychoanalysis, CBT, and utilize psychoeducation regarding the brain and nervous system to help you address your underlying concerns. I am committed to establishing a secure and nurturing space
where, over time, we can explore the intricacies of our therapeutic relationship and identify relational patterns in real time. Personal growth and self-awareness are important to me, which is why I consistently examine my own patterns in an effort to strengthen our therapeutic relationship.

I was born in California where I received my doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology. My clinical interests were shaped by my experiences working in an inpatient psychiatric hospital, various community mental health centers, and administering comprehensive psychological assessments. Prior to pursuing a career as a psychologist, I worked in the corporate realm and received a master’s degree in HR Management from University of Southern California. In my spare time, I enjoy a variety of activities, including painting,
hiking, spending time with friends, reading, cooking, and being outdoors.
