My Background

Working in healthcare for the last 15 years, I’ve seen the toll that mental illness takes on so many. Becoming a nurse practitioner was a natural path for me to make a positive impact on people’s lives. I graduated from the University of South Alabama with a Master’s in Nursing. I have experience working with the underserved pediatric population of Travis County. In the community mental health setting, I was able to develop expertise in providing trauma-informed care for youth dealing with a variety of challenges, such as autism, intellectual/developmental disabilities, juvenile detention, and foster care. I believe in creating a safe and empathetic space for my patients to explore their concerns. In my spare time, I enjoy running outdoors, collecting house plants, practicing latte art, and reading. As an advocate for self-care, I am dedicated to assisting others find optimal wellness and improve their quality of life.
