My Background

My therapy style is a kind approach with a sprinkle of sarcasm. I love connecting about life and understanding the whole person and the people in their lives. I use a lot of systems based approaches. I use a great amount of Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.

I have extensive experience working with families and groups. Past patients have appreciated that there was an understanding that giving everything to the process was how to move forward. Seeing that change and taking the steps they need to heal themselves is such a beautiful process.

I think there are challenges of people wanting to start therapy, but unable to give their whole selves to the process. We can process through those. I know this is a scary process, and I also know major change can happen!

A Few Fun Facts or Interests:

My family is my world, being a mom has been life changing. I love spending my time outdoors and camping. I have lived in Texas my whole life, and have explored and lived in many parts of Texas. I also love to travel and hope to travel more in the future. I love a good crime podcast or book. I’m always down for trying new foods and restaurants.
