Personal Enrichment Adventures: Quests
Let’s go on a Quest together!
- Perfect for new players
- Single session adventures
- Learn the game and meet new people
- FIRST SESSION IS FREE
Quests are individual (also called one-shot) adventures designed to offer an encapsulated experience, introduce new players to the game, and give you a taste of what it is like to play with Mike. Quests are a great way to get started and/or have a single story experience with friends, family, or even coworkers. If you love the experience and want to keep the adventure going, you can then join one of the recurring groups.
We have two main options for quests: First Quests (for those learning to play) and Friends and Family Quests (for those who want a single game for friends, family members, or coworkers).
Interested in finding out what this roleplaying thing is all about?
In a single session, you will get an introduction to the roleplaying hobby, you will learn how to play Dungeons and Dragons and share a fun, single-session adventure with peers. We group first quests in age groups so that the content of the adventure is age-appropriate.
(For those familiar with D&D: Participants choose from a list of prefabricated characters, which means you don’t get to create your own. If you want to create your own, head on to the Fellowships and Sagas sections!)
First Quest – Kids (8-12 yrs)
Our kids-only First Quest is “rated G” and designed to introduce little ones to the game. The session is 2-hours so that everyone stays engaged and light on rules so that everyone can have fun. Little to no combat, enemies are “defeated” and not killed.
First Quest – Teens (13-19 yrs)
If your teen struggles with social skills or building friendships, this is a great place to start. Or, if they just like the game and want to play with potential friends, this is the place for them! Sessions are 2-hours.
First Quest – Adults
Want to give D&D a try? Whether you are looking to meet new people or simply wanting to learn more about the game, this First Quest is your chance. We offer a 3-hour one-shot first adventure for adults only.
Friends and Family Quests
If you have a group of friends, coworkers, or family members who all want to play together, this is the Quest for you! Friends and Family Quests are 3-hour sessions at a flat rate of $75 per participant. We schedule these as-requested, so all you have to do is contact us with your preferred date(s) and time(s). Our wizard’s schedule is limited, but we will do our best to accommodate.
If you are looking to go beyond the first quests and one-shots to join a longer story, consider our Fellowship and Saga classes!
