I’m Regina – and I’m guessing you might be ready for some change in your life.

Your decision to consider counseling probably wasn’t an easy or quick one. Despite the tremendous progress made over the past several years in destigmatizing mental health care, for many people, the thought of being in therapy is a scary one. But if you’re reading this, you deserve to be commended. Now the challenge is finding a therapist that’s a good match. I’d be more than happy to explore the idea of working with you.

My Passion

I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a Master’s in Social Work. After my own life took a detour, I chose to work with terminally ill patients and caregivers of all ages and backgrounds. I’ve also provided in-house support to other professionals in the field. I’m passionate about this underserved and underdiscussed population, and all the issues that come with it:

  • Stress
  • Anxiety
  • Depression (and other mood disorders)
  • Role changes
  • Family conflict
  • Anticipatory grief
  • Coping with chronic or terminal diagnosis
  • Current or unresolved grief and loss
  • Existential worry
  • Isolation

My Approach

My approach to therapy is professional yet laid back, like a conversation you might share with a trusted friend. The primary goal is to provide you with a space that feels comfortable enough to breathe, explore, reflect and heal. I currently provide individual therapy via Telehealth with flexible evening and weekend sessions. Come for the conversation, stay for the perspective
